The one constant in life is its unpredictability. Life comes at us quickly and often with intensity. No matter how life approaches us, God remains trustworthy, dependable, and faithful. Jesus promised that he would never leave us. We can trust God to meet all our needs, hear every prayer, and work everything together for our good. 

So, when life’s unexpected twists and turns shake your world, remember that God is…

       …Your provider. “So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’… your heavenly Father knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God and he will give you everything you need.” (Matthew 6:31-33, NLT) “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)
       …Your protector. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it, and they are safe” (Proverbs 18:10). “Whoever goes to the Lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty, can say to him, ‘You are my defender and protector. You are my God; in you I trust.’" (Psalm 91:1-2, GNT)
       …Your pilot. "He guides me along right paths... Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid.” (Psalm 23:3-4) “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
       …Your peace. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace...” (Philippians 4:6-7). Prayer and gratitude go a long way to combat the vicissitudes of life.

As we turn to our Savior, let us not forget to express our gratitude and praise, for He blesses the righteous and envelops them in His love (Psalm 5:11-12)
